My story began on 18-02-2010 as a simple gynecological cyst operation became a serious, several hours long tumor operation that changed and limited my whole life.

When I awoke the doctor said that the tumor affected the ovaries and the uterus (they took of course), the large intestine, the bladder and the appendix too. I felt that is the end, the world ruined for/around me. I could not really take what happened to me and was not the main thing that I had cancer but the fact I can not have a baby anymore. I carried through seven of eight hard chemotherapies with the support of my husband and my family.

From a colleague of my husband (thanks him hereby too!) we got the number of Tímea. I go to treatments regularly since the end of August last year - initially weekly, then less. First I had doubts because as a believer I could not imagine how could she help me. Thanks Goodness and Tímea my doubts got away and I understood all. I became stronger physically and psychically also and I got a lot of answers to my questions too. Relatives and friends of mine often say that I look good and I am strong. One of my colleagues said recently „Erika, you are made of steel!”. No, I am not, but God gave me an other chance by Tímea – many thanks for that!

I try to use it and live every minute of it as I do my best because I am a GREAT SURVIVOR.
